Frankfurt, 19 April 2021 – McDermott Will & Emery advised Unsere Champions GmbH, a successful operator of day nurseries and kindergartens in southern Germany, on the market entry into Switzerland. A team led by partner Norman Wasse provided German law advice on the acquisition of various childcare facilities in the German-speaking part of Switzerland from private owners.
The facilities include Kleinegrossewelt, Kinderkrippe s’Nuscheli, Kindertreff Zwergenburg, Keiki and Allegra Kinderhäuser.
VISCHER advised Unsere Champions on the Swiss legal aspects with a team led by partner Dr. Robert Bernet.
The rapidly growing Unsere Champions GmbH operates kindergartens and nursery schools in 20 cities in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. Entering the Swiss market is part of the group’s planned growth strategy. Majority shareholders of Unsere Champions are the French Enjoy Group and the Luxembourg-based Lavorel Group.
McDermott regularly advises Unsere Champions on transactions.
