Leading international law firm McDermott Will & Emery today announced that transaction lawyer Peter Healy has joined the Corporate and Transactional practice as a partner based in San Francisco.
“Peter has a well-earned reputation of being one of the leading capital markets and M&A lawyers in San Francisco. As the former global co-chair of a law firm’s capital markets group, he provides our clients with significant experience and local market knowledge,” said Harris Siskind, global head of McDermott’s Corporate and Transactional Group. “Peter’s more than 40 years of experience and his life-long client relationships are perfectly aligned with McDermott’s service ethic and high standards.”
Peter represents issuers and underwriters in public offerings, going-private transactions, private placements and other capital market transactions. His practice also includes the representation of private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and hedge funds in their investment activities.

Peter earned a BS from Santa Clara University, MBA from Cornell University and JD from University of California Hastings, College of Law. Peter joins McDermott from O’Melveny.
