International law firm McDermott Will & Emery welcomes Tony Torain as a partner in its Employment Practice Group in Washington, DC. Tony brings extensive experience in traditional labor and employment litigation, further strengthening the Firm’s capabilities in these areas.

Tony joins McDermott from Polsinelli, where he focused on traditional labor and employment litigation. He represents clients in trials, arbitrations, and various labor matters, such as unfair labor practice proceedings, audits, strikes, union election campaigns, and collective bargaining negotiations. Tony also advises employers on a wide range of employment-related issues, including employee separations, wage and hour compliance, and union avoidance strategies.
Ranked by Chambers in DC Labor & Employment, Tony has been named to the Best Lawyers Ones to Watch list and was listed in the 2024 Benchmark Litigation 40 and Under. Additionally, Tony is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and has been featured in The Maryland Daily Record’s Employment Law Power List 2024.
