McDermott Will & Emery has been ranked the most active firm for health care private equity in PitchBook’s 2018 League Tables, the second time in the last three years the Firm has led in this category. This caps off an outstanding 2018, during which McDermott handled 66 health care private equity deals, outpacing its closest rivals by more than 40 percent.
Eric Zimmerman, partner and Head of McDermott’s Health Industry Advisory Group, credited the Firm’s exceptional health industry platform and extensive private equity experience with this year’s strong rankings. Working with a variety of clients, the team advised on numerous health care deals involving hospitals, inpatient/outpatient services, practice management, laboratory services, information technology, managed care, devices and supplies, business processing outsourcing and revenue cycle management.
