Miami, February 5, 2024 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has been named a Law Firm of the Year finalist in the Daily Business Review’s Florida Legal Awards 2024. This is the first year in which the category was researched.
McDermott has also been shortlisted for ESG Impact in recognition of its commitment to social responsibility through client-focused efforts, pro bono work and charitable drives. Organizations the Firm supports include TransSOCIAL, National Veterans Legal Services Program and Legal Services of Greater Miami, among others.
In addition to the Firm recognitions, Partner Michael Bruno was selected as an On the Rise honoree, and Partner Arianne Plasencia was named the Diversity & Inclusion (Individual) winner.
The Daily Business Review’s annual legal awards recognize distinguished members of the Florida legal community in assorted areas of the law. Honorees will be recognized, and winners in finalist categories will be announced, at the Florida Legal Awards event in April.
