McDermott Once Again Recognized for “Tipping the Scales” Toward Gender Parity With 2024 New Partner Class

Overview

October 29, 2024 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is a “Tipping the Scales” recipient as part of Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s 2024 New Partner Report. The Alliance recognizes law firms that have 50% or more women in their new partner class globally and/or in the United States.

McDermott’s commitment to gender equity and women’s issues dates back to 1957 when we became the second major US law firm to elect a female partner. As a Diversity & Flexibility Alliance Leader Member, we develop policies and initiatives to reinforce the Firm’s long-standing commitment to accepting and understanding gender differences and to recruiting, retaining, and promoting the most talented lawyers and staff regardless of gender.
