WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 1, 2023 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce partner Kate McDonald has been named a DC Rising Star as part of The National Law Journal’s Legal Awards 2023.
Kate serves as Partner-in-Charge of the Healthcare Practice Group in Washington, D.C., and represents clients across the healthcare industry on complex regulatory matters and high-stakes mergers and acquisitions, affiliations and other investments. Kate is regularly called on by health plans, provider organizations, technology start-ups, private equity funds, retailers and other clients to benchmark risks, solve regulatory challenges and structure transactions, particularly those that involve federal and state healthcare programs.
