International law firm McDermott Will & Emery’s Private Client practice once again tops Chambers High Net Worth 2021 rankings for the 13th consecutive year. McDermott was ranked as the sole Band 1 Firm in USA: Nationwide – Private Wealth Law and also received a Band 1 ranking in Family Office & Fund Structuring—a new category this year. Additionally, the team received nods for “creative solutions,” “technical mastery” and “deep expertise in all areas that affect family offices or high net worth individuals.”
The Firm received praise in jurisdictions across the United States. Our District of Columbia team maintained its sole Band 1 position and is noted as “the place to go for high net worth individuals,” in part due to its “stable of renowned attorneys nationally.” Additionally, our Illinois team is the sole Firm ranked Band 1 and commended as “the best in the business.”
In the United Kingdom, our Private Wealth Disputes team collected compliments for its “very, very high level of general service” with lawyers who “think outside the box” and are described as “absolutely fantastic.” The Private Wealth Law team received a nod to the team being “responsive and technically strong.”
