International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has been recognized for the tenth consecutive year by World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000), the only standalone publication that recommends individual practitioners and their firms exclusively in the trademark field. Clients and market commenters noted “McDermott’s brands team is firing on all cylinders right now,” which is reflected in this year’s impressive rankings.
The Trademark Group maintained its strong national rankings this year—many of the Firm’s individual lawyers moved up in the rankings and two lawyers made their debut on the list. Overall, McDermott’s practice is recognized as a leading player by WTR 1000 and is commended throughout the rankings for client service strength within prosecution & strategy as well as enforcement & litigation. The group’s representation runs the gamut from prosecution to brand protection, litigation and enforcement to IP commercialization and IP transactional matters. Across the board the team is noted for legal prowess and reputation in many different business sectors, including technology, block chain, food and beverage, life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
