Overview
International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), a preeminent pediatric hospital in Southern California, in a cardiology affiliation with UCLA Health. The combined affiliation will establish a joint pediatric heart program that will become a leading destination for diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of congenital and acquired heart disease.
The affiliation will accomplish the vision of “one heart program offered at two sites” to provide pediatric patients with the right care in a location that is most convenient for them. It also plans to attract the nation’s top pediatric cardiology experts and advance cardiology innovation, research and education for the benefit of children for generations to come.
