McDermott Represents Cleveland Clinic in Centerline Biomedical $33 Million Series B Equity Financing

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education, which led the $33 million Series B equity financing of Centerline Biomedical, Inc., a private medical technology company. This funding will help propel the company into new surgical applications, accelerate its commercial sales and add to its growing clinical evidence repository.

• The transaction was announced June 27, 2022.
• Cleveland Clinic led the financing with participation from GE Healthcare, RIK Enterprises, JobsOhio, Jumpstart Ventures and G2 Group Ventures.
