International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented co-founder and co-owner of Mailchimp in its sale to Intuit. Subject to required regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, this transaction will make history as the largest sale of a self-funded technology company, largest sale of a private software company, largest sale of a SMB software company and largest sale of a marketing software company.
