CHICAGO (October 12, 2017) – McDermott is pleased to announce its recent representation of NACCO Industries, Inc., in its spin-off of Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company, to the stockholders of NACCO, which was completed on September 29, 2017. Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company Class A common stock will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “HBB.”
NACCO distributed a dividend consisting of one share of Hamilton Beach Brands Class A common stock and one share of Hamilton Beach Brands Class B common stock to holders of each share of NACCO Class A and Class B common stock.
Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company, as an independent public company, will operate two separate businesses. Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is a leading designer, marketer and distributor of branded small electric household and specialty housewares appliances, as well as commercial products for restaurants, bars and hotels. The Kitchen Collection, LLC is a national specialty retailer of kitchenware in outlet and traditional malls throughout the United States.
