McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce the arrival of Todd Eisner as partner in the Real Estate Practice in the Firm’s New York office. Todd offers clients experienced counsel as they undertake acquisition and development transactions, recapitalizations, joint ventures and investments in all real estate sectors.
Todd is the third new partner addition to the Firm’s real estate practice this year.

Todd focuses on sales, ground leases, acquisitions, borrower-side financings, including mezzanine financing, and development projects involving debt and equity for all types of real estate transactions. His knowledge of under-performing real estate makes him a frequent partner for investors and developers navigating workouts and restructurings and purchasing, selling or repositioning the capital stacks of distressed entities or properties.
“Todd brings deep experience across a range of transactions with particular focus on complex joint ventures in virtually all asset classes, including in the hotel industry, a marquee practice area of the Firm in which we have both well-recognized skills and global clients,” added Keith Pattiz, who leads the Real Estate Group.
Todd has extensive nationwide experience handling all aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of real estate and both sponsors’ and investors’ interests in development, transitional and stabilized properties.
Todd joins the Firm from Duval & Stachenfeld, LLP where he was a senior partner handling many high-profile projects across the country. He has been consistently recognized by Super Lawyers since 2008.
Todd rejoins former Duval colleagues Pejman “Pej” Razavilar and Stacie Trott, who both recently moved to the Firm. McDermott maintains its position as a go-to firm for real estate and real estate finance, continuing to grow the global team of approximately 100 lawyers in the US, UK, Italy, Germany and France and achieving industry recognitions from Chambers, Best Lawyers and Law360.
Todd received his BA from George Washington University, his MBA from Fordham University and his JD from Brooklyn Law School.
