“The EDPS provides crucial guidance on the protection of personal data in the context of the development and exploitation of AI models. The EDPS considers that AI models trained on personal data should no longer be no longer be considered ‘anonymous’ as a matter of principle, and provides for demanding level of documentation and demonstration by those responsible if they consider that their model is anonymous.”
