Overview
Abbey Bowe focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts across the country. Abbey has played an instrumental role in every phase of litigation, from initial case filing through document discovery, depositions, major motions, trial, and appeals. Abbey has particular experience with False Claims Act litigation and high-stakes insurance coverage litigation. In addition to representing clients in court, Abbey advises clients on compliance matters, internal investigations, and insurance issues arising in transactions and government investigations.
Abbey maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented tenants facing eviction proceedings, incarcerated individuals seeking compassionate release, and local small businesses in contract disputes.
During law school, Abbey was an executive technical editor and the community engagement and development chair of the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender and was a member of the Harvard Law School Health Law and Policy Clinic. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Frank D. Whitney of the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
