Overview
Adam D. Perlman advises private equity sponsors and other private companies in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and minority investments. In his practice, he has represented clients and investors across a wide variety of industries, including medical technology, industrials and manufacturing, software and healthcare. Adam also provides counseling to clients and portfolio companies regarding corporate governance matters, compliance matters and other day-to-day general corporate advice.
While in law school, Adam served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Martin Glenn of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. He also was a member of the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic, where he represented startup companies that were at early entity formation stages. Additionally, Adam obtained a certificate in business law with distinction and was an articles editor for the Brooklyn Law Review.
