Overview
Lina K. Alameddine focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, e-discovery and corporate compliance, including issues relative to white-collar criminal defense and contract disputes. She has particular knowledge of government and internal corporate investigations.
Lina has defended healthcare providers and hospital systems against allegations related to the False Claims Act and its qui tam provisions, the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark law and other allegations. She has additional experience in environmental matters, such as compliance and the defense of asbestos litigation.
Lina has also worked on matters relating to antitrust, bankruptcy, copyright infringement, fraudulent advertising, Medicaid and Medicare fraud, mergers and acquisitions, pharmaceutical litigation, price fixing, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) claims and securities litigation.
