Alexander C. Clavero focuses his practice on transactional work, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures involving private equity sponsors and private companies. He has handled many complex transactions, including leveraged buyouts, private equity acquisitions and divestitures, corporate carve-outs, debt and equity investments, and joint ventures.
Alexander is the partner in charge for the Miami Corporate & Transactional Practice Group.

- in its acquisition of Patriot Pickle, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Patriot provides high-quality pickles to thousands of restaurants, delis, supermarkets and distributors across North America
- in its acquisition of the bone and spine business division of ZimVie Inc., a publicly traded company and global life sciences leader in the dental and spinal markets
- in its acquisition of Celerion Holdings, Inc., a research organization that offers services such as clinical trial design, patient recruitment, clinical site management and bioanalytical testing
- in the sale of its portfolio company and leading specialty food distributor, importer and manufacturer, Lipari Foods, to an affiliate of Littlejohn & Co., LLC

- in its acquisition of Island Pump & Tank Corp., a provider of maintenance, environmental, construction and alternative energy services to fuel retailers and government agencies in the northeastern United States
- in its acquisition of Rapid Pump & Meter Service Company, LLC and Machinery Services Co., LLC, providers of turnkey construction and pump services for the municipal, industrial, commercial and transportation sectors
- in the sales of Stella Environmental Services, LLC to Leonard Green & Partners LP and Cloyes Gear and Products to MidOcean Partners
- Represented Lee Equity Partners LLC, a growth-oriented middle market private equity firm in connection with numerous acquisitions and divestitures, including:
- in its partnership with Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS), one of the largest independent cardiovascular practices, to launch a national cardiovascular platform, Cardiovascular Logistics
- in its acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Bradford Health Services, a leading substance use disorder treatment provider in the southeast, from Centre Partners Management LLC, a leading middle market private equity firm
- in its acquisition of Tri State Urologic Services P.S.C., Inc. and Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC to form Solaris Health Holdings, LLC
