Angela Irene Theodoropoulos focuses her practice on complex regulatory and transactional matters in the healthcare industry.
Angela advises clients on nonprofit corporate law and governance best practices, including governance structure, fiduciary responsibilities, corporate governance compliance and board conflicts. She provides nuanced, actionable regulatory advice on compliance standards and care delivery, including advising on professional and facility licensure, scope of practice and supervision, and corporate practice requirements.
Clients partner with Angela to develop and implement creative, practical legal solutions for digital health initiatives. She designs solutions that comply with the current healthcare regulatory landscape and helps clients navigate state-specific telehealth requirements.
Angela supports a wide range of nonprofit and for-profit clients engaged in strategic affiliations, mergers, equity and asset acquisitions, and other transactional matters. She regularly serves as transaction and health regulatory counsel for hospital clients, health systems, and private equity firms and their platform companies.
While in law school, Angela was the executive development editor for the Michigan Law Review and interned at the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel.
