Overview
Betty (Yajing) Zhang focuses her practice on antitrust matters, including antitrust litigation, investigations, and arbitrations. She also has experience with other general litigation matters.
While in law school, Betty was a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a judicial extern for Chief Judge Rebecca Glasgow of the Washington Court of Appeals Division II, and a legal extern for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office Civil Division. She also served as executive managing editor of the Washington Law Review, co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and competed as a member of Moot Court Honor Board.
Results
- Defended a client in an investigation by the California Attorney General into alleged violations of California unfair competition and antitrust laws for a group boycott
- Arbitrated claims that a client’s subcontract and overall contracting strategy violated Sherman Act Section 1
- Defended a client in a Civil Investigative Demand issued by the FTC for Clayton Act violations
