Overview
David A. Butkovich focuses his practice on e-discovery and data management, data preservation and collection, early case assessment and trial preparation, primarily in the context of complex civil litigation. Dean has completed extensive training on the proper utilization of litigation technology and is recognized as a Relativity Review Specialist by kCura developers of Relativity.
Dean has additionally focused his practice on patent infringement litigation. He has worked on a variety of matters relating to antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. Dean also has experience with securities enforcement actions, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, antitrust matters, Lobbying Disclosure Act and state lobbying compliance, as well as bankruptcy.
Dean maintains an active pro bono practice with Human Rights First, representing clients in the Washington, DC, area throughout the legal process of seeking asylum in the United States.
