Overview
Jack Knorps focuses his practice on e-Discovery issues in a diverse array of cases, including complex civil litigation matters and governmental investigations. He has assisted in large-scale reviews concerning healthcare, employment, environmental, antitrust and finance matters.
Jack has worked on matters concerning multi-state toxic tort nuisance claims against a global agricultural chemical corporation, cryptocurrency fraud, employment discrimination and potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Stark law.
Prior to joining McDermott, Jack worked as an associate both at an insurance defense firm and a plaintiff’s firm, defending clients against catastrophic injury claims and representing clients in personal injury matters, as well as divorce, child custody, bankruptcy, criminal and breach of contract cases. He also served as an Attorney Law Clerk for the City of Chicago, and interned at the Chicago Transit Authority and the New York City Transportation Authority, as well as the Medicare Rights Center and the Legal Aid Society.
