Overview
Deanna primarily focuses her practice on corporate restructuring. She represents corporate debtors, creditors, equity holders, officers and directors, and creditors’ committees in a variety of different restructuring matters including out-of-court restructurings, prepackaged and prearranged chapter 11 cases and traditional chapter 11 cases. Representative clients involve broad-ranging industries such as manufacturing, power & gas, transportation, telecommunication, retail, among others. Deanna’s specialized focus within the restructuring arena involves mass tort chapter 11 restructurings for which she has complex trial and appellate experience.
In addition to having more than two decades of restructuring experience in private practice, Deanna has served as general counsel and owner of a restaurant venture and is an active instructor and member of the New York chapter of Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE). Deanna’s diverse experiences allow her to take a 360-degree view of client concerns to develop practical and effective strategies and solutions.
