Dominik Rissmann advises German and international clients comprehensively on intellectual property matters. He focuses his practice on standard-essential patents (SEPs) and FRAND defenses. Other areas of his practice include drafting and negotiation of business agreements such as IP licensing agreements as well as trade mark law issues and domain disputes.

Before he was admitted to the German bar, Dominik already gained practical experiences at McDermott as a research assistant and legal clerk in the field of intellectual property in Düsseldorf and Boston. He completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court Düsseldorf.
