Brian’s debt practice is highlighted by his representation of clients in high-profile pre-development and construction loans (including New York City construction lending matters) with multiple layers of senior and junior credit arrangements, including senior/junior mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments as an alternative capital source for development projects, as well as portfolio deals, and second mortgage arrangements. His experience also includes the origination of complex secondary market transactions and loan-on-loan financings; the negotiation of intercreditor and co-lender agreements; and guiding his clients through loan restructurings, workouts, intercreditor/co-lender disputes, and bankruptcy matters.
