Jesse Douglas focuses his practice on acquisition and other debt financings for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, direct lenders and other public and private companies.
Jesse provides counsel to borrowers and lenders in both the syndicated and private loan markets. He has experiencing negotiating, documenting and executing unitranche facilities, first lien/second lien facilities, junior debt facilities, asset backed loans, recapitalizations, refinancings, special situations, debt restructurings and fund-level financings (including secured subscription lines, management company lines and NAV facilities).
Results
- Represented the portfolio company of a large private equity sponsor in connection with a $2.5 billion-dollar broadly syndicated credit facility the proceeds of which were used for a strategic refinancing and concurrent add-on acquisition
- Represented a premier enterprise software-focused sponsor in connection with an approximately $1.35 billion-dollar private credit facility for a platform leveraged buyout
- Represented a prominent healthcare-focused sponsor in connection with a $700 million-dollar senior secured operating company facility coupled with a $300 million-dollar unsecured holding company PIK facility
- Represented a leading bay area venture capital firm in connection with a $100 million-dollar NAV facility
