Overview
Dr. Tim Weill advises clients on all aspects of public law, including constitutional, administrative, and regulatory law. He focuses his practice on construction law and environmental law, for example in the context of complex real estate transactions and project developments. Another strong focus of Tim are foreign trade law issues, in particular FDI procedures as well as export control and sanctions.
Prior to joining McDermott, Tim worked as a research assistant at two international business law firms in the areas of public law and data privacy law and for a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament in the areas of legal and domestic policy. He completed his legal clerkship at McDermott’s Düsseldorf office, also in the area of public law.
In addition to his work at McDermott, Tim is a member of the Committee for Economic Development, International and Regional Cooperation of the City Council of Düsseldorf and is active in other municipal committees.
