Overview
With his wide-ranging knowledge in transactional and regulatory issues, M. Brian Hall, IV counsels clients across the healthcare industry. He navigates hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, pharmacies, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies through complex transactions with his strategic guidance.
His insight has resulted in closing numerous healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic affiliations. From a regulatory perspective, Brian focuses on fraud and abuse matters relating to the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute, reimbursement and payment reform issues, and compliance issues. He also consults with clients on multifaceted, ongoing health regulatory and operational issues.
During law school, Brian served as law clerk for The Johns Hopkins Health System Legal Department and interned for a member of the US Senate. He also served as the senior articles editor for the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy.
