Hunter Jackson drives McDermott’s innovative knowledge management efforts, including deployment of AI solutions, Foundation experience management technology, document automation projects and Enterprise Search across our global practice groups. As a key member of McDermott’s Innovation team, Hunter creates best-in-breed knowledge management products to drive both internal and client-facing solutions across practice groups. A national leader in legal knowledge management, Hunter is recognized for creating innovative solutions to enable lawyers to better capture, organize and share their collective knowledge, identify expertise, price and manage matters.
Hunter previously led the knowledge management program for a global transactions practice at a large international firm. Prior to moving into legal knowledge management in 2011, Hunter was a practicing lawyer for over 10 years at a number of international law firms.
Results
- Prior to joining McDermott, Hunter successfully managed an international law firm’s transactional innovation efforts, including (i) deployment of AI technology across all global transaction practice groups with significant hands-on experience in training AI to recognize custom provisions; (ii) leading adoption of Foundation across all global transactional practices which resulted in significant jumps to the Firm’s M&A/PE league table rankings and (iii) conducting “What’s Market?” symposium for clients and attorneys highlighting market terms for some of the most heavily negotiated agreements.
- Prior to joining McDermott, Hunter also helped in the creation of an in-house dedicated corporate services team staffed by a specialized group of lawyers focused exclusively on conducting due diligence and implemented several document assembly technology projects to improve the efficiency of creating legal work product.
