Overview


Katherine Kronick focuses her practice on a broad range of matters for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. She has experience analyzing estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation issues, preparing complex estate plans, effectuating complex wealth transfer transactions, preparing federal gift tax returns, and advising clients on entity formation and governance. She has represented clients through mediation and advised in the negotiation of settlement agreements and effectuation of court-ordered resolutions. Additionally, Katie has represented several clients in navigating the court system to effectuate judicial modifications of irrevocable trust instruments. Katie has also spent time litigating complex trust and estate administration matters, probating large estates, and advising fiduciaries in the administration of contested trusts.

While in law school, Katherine served as a global tax extern for an enterprise blockchain company. She also was executive managing editor of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal.
