Overview
Emily Palmer advises private equity firms and platform companies, hospitals, health systems, and other health industry clients in a variety of transactional and regulatory matters. She has assisted clients in connection with numerous complex transactions, including management and professional service arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. She also regularly advises clients with respect to state licensure issues, compliance, corporate practice of medicine laws, and other federal and state legal, regulatory and business issues affecting healthcare providers.
Prior to attending law school, Emily worked in contracts management for a large healthcare services company.
During law school, Emily held positions at a Chicago-area hospital and the Chicago-Kent Institute of Science, Law and Technology, where she focused on compliance and digital health issues, respectively. She also participated as a Senior Member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Chicago-Kent Law Review.
