Overview
Arjun Sehgal focuses his practice on private equity and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, management equity plans, corporate reorganisations, and restructuring distressed businesses. Arjun was recently seconded to the London offices of H.I.G. Europe Capital where he advised deal teams across various situations, including buyouts, joint-ventures and structured equity investments, restructurings and distressed credit investments.

- Advised Apollo (through certain investment funds affiliated therewith) and its portfolio, Catalina, on the disposal of Catalina Insurance Ireland, an Irish insurance company regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, to Riverstone, the largest provider of legacy solutions in the Lloyd’s market (and backed by CVC Capital)*
- Advised Atento in its successful UK restructuring plans*
- Advised H.I.G. Capital in respect the restructuring of its portfolio, Cabonline Group Holding AB, the largest taxi network in the Nordics, which operates in Sweden, Norway and Finland, with respect to its financial indebtedness owed to a consortium of Nordic and international institutional investors*
- Advised One Equity Partners and Buckthorn Partners in connection with their acquisition of Amey UK plc from Ferrovial*
- Advised a global insurance and annuity provider on its acquisition of a UK-based impact investment manager*
- Advised EQT Private Equity and PRO Unlimited in PRO Unlimited’s acquisition of outsourced workforce management provider Geometric Results, Inc.*
- Advised certain funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management on the successful launch of a 50:50 joint venture with illimity Bank S.p.A., aimed at investing up to €500 million euro in NPL and UTP loans secured by real estate assets in Italy*
- Advised Huma on its acquisition of iPLATO Healthcare*
- Advised an asset-backed special opportunities fund on the enforcement of its security granted in connection with a senior secured loan to take control of the business following default by the debtor group*
- Advised a global investment management firm on the financing of a sale and leaseback transaction for the headquarters of an automotive business*
- Advised EQT Partners Inc. in the merger of its portfolio company, FocusVision, with Confirmit, a portfolio company of Verdane*
- Advised KKR on its investment in Nordic Bioscience, a Danish biomarker development company*
- Advised a healthcare investment fund on its investment in the Series B financing of a Belgian growth factor biology drug developer*
- Advised a healthcare investment fund on its investment in the Series C financing of an English biotechnology company*
- Advised a publicly listed healthcare REIT on the re-organisation of its joint venture with another publicly listed healthcare REIT*
- Advised Travelex on its financial and operational restructuring*
