Overview
Samantha (Sam) Smart works with clients on identifying, evaluating, and managing global privacy and information security risks and compliance issues. She regularly handles matters related to compliance with US state and federal privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Samantha has experience drafting online and offline privacy policies, procedures, and notices, and supports clients in cybersecurity incident response and preparedness activities.
In her active pro bono practice, Samantha has provided legal services to veterans and assisted minors in immigration court matters
