Overview
Soffia H. Kuehner Gray focuses her practice on all aspects of estate planning, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on a wide variety of wealth transfer techniques and transfer tax planning matters.
Soffia designs and implements highly customized estate plans and wealth transfer transactions designed to achieve family and charitable goals while minimizing transfer taxes. Soffia is also experienced in the formation and administration of private trust companies. In addition, she regularly handles trust administration and post-death estate administration matters.
Soffia previously served as a Public Interest Law Initiative fellow at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin, District Judge of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Honorable Eric I. Long, Magistrate Judge of the US District Court for the Central District of Illinois. In addition, Soffia was an articles editor for the University of Illinois Law Review.
