Overview
Mike Tenenboym represents multinational corporations with respect to US federal income tax matters and international tax planning. As part of his planning practice, Mike provides structuring advice in connection with corporation transactions such as spin-offs and acquisitions. He advises clients across multiple industries, including aerospace, defense, semiconductor, high tech, pharmaceutical and telecommunications, among others.
Mike focuses his practice on business taxation and has considerable experience advising clients on income tax and accounting issues, such as the timing of income accrual and the deductibility and capitalization of expenses. Mike also routinely advises clients on the US research tax credit and the semiconductor tax credit. Separately, he regularly handles tax policy matters, testifying at US Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service hearings and authoring comment letters in connection with regulatory guidance.
