Overview
Dr. Antje Weiss advises private and public companies on all matters of public law, including administrative, regulatory and constitutional law. She has in-depth knowledge of administrative litigation and the relevant administrative procedures, as demonstrated by the large number of proceedings she has conducted and continues to conduct for companies across various industries in connection with Covid measures implemented by the German federal states (Bundesländer).
Antje focuses her advice on the interface between the private and public sector and has extensive experience in PPP projects. Her focus is on budgetary law issues as well as advice on regulatory specifics for the economic activity of public companies and state institutions in administrative procedures, internal restructuring measures or participations.
Another focus of her work is advising on issues relating to commercial law. In this area, she represents, for example, private and public companies in the gaming sector, in particular in connection with the production and installation of gaming machines, the construction and operation of gaming arcades and all aspects of online gaming. This also includes many years of advising a large number of municipal corporations on issues relating to the law governing the sale and operation of gaming machines.
In addition, Antje advises and assists clients on all issues relating to the development of land, including municipal tax law, in particular in connection with the acquisition of land.
